Ealing Borough Based Partnership (BBP) brings together the NHS, Ealing Council, the voluntary and community sector and local residents, to improve health and care outcomes for all the people of Ealing.
The partnership does not replace or merge organisations, but will bring together organisations and teams to work more effectively around a shared purpose.
The seven towns that make up Ealing Borough
Our aim is to ensure better health and care for all now and in the future, through prevention programmes, addressing inequalities and the delivery of high quality care. Our ambition is for every person living in Ealing to have the best health outcomes and access to the highest quality care from the moment they are born, and throughout their lives.
To do this the partnership has an agreed four key principles
- Ensuring the culture of the local BBP is that of ‘can do’ and mutual respect
- Playing an integral role in removing barriers for front line teams to innovate and work together in new and exciting ways
- Ultimately improving outcomes for the patients/residents of Ealing
- Supporting and attracting the best workforce to Ealing, who want to stay and be a part of an incredible team

The design of our Governance systems reflects the changes that we are seeing through Integrated Care arrangements in the wider system and how this influences our roles, responsibilities, and interactions with each other, including our residents.
Ealing Primary Care Executive Group (PCEG) is established as a group of the NHS North West London Integrated Care Board (NHS NW London).
In keeping with the commitment to maintain and enhance primary care locally, as much business as possible will be transacted at NHS NW London borough level.
PCEG’s role is to oversee the development of primary care at a place based level, ensuring that NW London and national requirements are delivered and assurance provided through both the place based governance arrangements (where a decision impacts only the local geography) and the NW London Local Care governance arrangements (where more than one geography is impacted).
Click here to find out more about Ealing PCEG and how to join a meeting in public.
The transformational work streams of the PBP reflect priority programmes for work for the Ealing Borough and priorities of the ICS. The work streams may be continuous or may be disbanded when the business of the group is concluded.
